Studio Red's signature hot yoga class

Red Fusion seamlessly knits different yoga styles together, resulting in a powerful full-body experience. These classes cater to both beginner and experienced practitioners, with modifications provided to assist and further your practice.

Red Fusion classes draw awareness to the way you move and breathe, while discovering your body’s optimal alignment. This practice moves at a slower pace allowing for guided modifications. Each class will vary based on the teacher’s theme or intention for the week. You can expect rhythmic breath and movement with opportunities to hold poses to create stability and strength in your practice. Wind down with seated poses and well-deserved relaxation.

All levels welcome.

A slow and introspective practice

Targeting connective tissues, joints and fascia, Studio Red’s Yin classes will help you destress and reset. These classes use floor-based poses, held for longer periods allowing for mindful breath connection and a deeper release into a pose. Our soft floors and ample props will support all of your individual practice needs. Yin is a great complement to other activities and yoga styles, and it’s beginner friendly.

All levels welcome.

The perfect balance of strength and surrender

Yin/Yang classes at Studio Red Wellness are mindfully sequenced to bring two different points of focus together in one harmonious experience. The Yin section of the class will cool, relax, and release connective tissues and ligaments in the body, while the Yang element will warm, challenge and strengthen the body through slow, controlled movements. In these classes you can expect gentle breath, movement sequences followed by poses held for longer periods of time.

Studio Red’s Yin Nidra delivers two therapeutic practices in one class.

Slow the nervous system with longer floor-based poses that delve deep into connective tissues, joints and fascia. Finish with a 30 minute guided 'yogic sleep' that promotes deep healing and relaxation. Your ticket to complete bliss.

A sweaty and challenging workout

Tone your body and work up a sweat with Studio Red’s hot High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Pilates classes. HIIT Pilates classes use the foundational poses, alignment and movements found in the Pilates methodology - turned up a notch. The sequences are playful and physically challenging, with options for beginners to advanced practitioners. HIIT Pilates will drive you to move your body in new ways, it’s all of the intensity without the high impact. Come along and feel the burn to motivational cues and energetic music.

All levels are welcome.

We heat our HIIT Pilates classes to 36 degrees. Yoga mat, towel and water bottle recommended.

Ayurvedic Yoga

Ayurvedic Yoga

yoga class based on the principles of Ayurveda

Ayurvedic yoga is a 60-minute yoga class based on the principles of Ayurveda, created by Ayurvedic Practitioner Celine Wallace. In Ayurveda, the three mind/body constitutions and ways of being are based on the elements; Vata - Air, Pitta - Fire, and Kapha - Earth; these are called the Doshas.

Vata classes will focus on grounding, with your head below your heart and slow, gentle movement to calm the nervous system. Pitta classes will focus on dispelling excess heat from the body with twisting and fluid movement. In contrast, Kapha classes will be more heat-based with vigorous vinyasa to warm this slow earth-moving dosha.

Based upon the Doshas (default states of being) within all of us, these classes are designed to balance, regulate and inspire your mind/body back into a place of balance and alignment with your natural state of being.

This class is heated or run at room temperature depending on the dosha in focus. This class will also vary in intensity depending on the dosha in focus.

A fusion of movement and depth into your meditation practice.

Meditation fusion is a practice which offers students the opportunity to move their body through a yoga practice whilst allowing time to learn more about and develop a mindful meditation practise.

This class is for anyone who is new to meditation and would like to try different techniques in an environment that allows space and time to do so as well as for those with a seasoned meditation practice that wish to drop into mindfulness in a shared space through movement and stillness.

Meditation Fusion will offer opportunities to connect to many different meditation techniques so that you may leave the mat with a fuller tool kit to support your wellbeing.

Breathwork is very effective at reducing stress, improving mental clarity and regulating our emotions because it directly restores healthy function of your nervous system. You will learn to take conscious control of your breath through a variety of breath patterns and begin to become aware of how you breathe throughout the day. This can bring about profound shifts in how you feel, operate and respond to others and will leave you feeling calm, clear and energised. What better way to spend your lunch break!

This class is suitable for everyone, no prior experience needed.
Come as you are, no special clothing required as long as you are comfortable.
