Intention Setting for the New Year - Discover Your Sankalpa
Discover your Sankalpa – Intention Setting for the New Year
“The mind is everything. What you think you become” – Buddha
Many of us become challenged when a teacher offers us a moment to set an intention in our practice -
How do you set an intention? Should I change my intention every time I start a practice? How will I know when I have achieved it? I don’t know what I desire.
This workshop offers you the opportunity to progressively refine what your deepest need is, and how to distil its essence into your intention. In Sanskrit, this is called your sankalpa. Sankalpa comes from two words – kalpa meaning “the rule to be followed above all others” and san meaning “a concept or idea formed in the heart”.
Through a process of self enquiry we journey into the heart to connect to our deepest desire and begin working to bring it to life in the new year and beyond
What to expect on the day –
• Self-reflection exercises to help find your sankalpa.
• Yoga Nidra
Please bring a journal and wear comfortable clothes.
