Dani Ramaekers

Dani Ramaekers

Dani finished her first yoga teacher training in Melbourne in 2008. She studied Somachi, a mix of vinyasa, tai chi and dance intertwined with Buddhist and yogic teachings. The mix appealed to her sense of wanderlust and, at the same time, helped ground her.

Eager to learn more about natural wellness, she completed a bachelor of naturopathic and herbal medicine at home in Auckland in 2014.

Along the way, she's taught yoga in many studios, on remote islands and inside corporate boardrooms (you can unroll your mat just about anywhere). She's grateful to be an alumni ambassador for the global brand lululemon and to have contributed to national wellness publications and healthcare companies.

Dani seeks to blend art and science, and instinct with intellect, in her teaching and personal practice. She's always loved stories and, as a writer, is inspired by the myths behind the poses. As a naturopath, Dani is drawn towards yoga's healing effects on the body and mind.

Dani encourages people to practice yoga with curiosity and playfulness. Whether you’re looking to create suppleness and build strength or strike an energetic balance that’s alert yet relaxed, yoga has something to offer.

All you need to do is step onto the mat.
